Gothenburg (Göteborg), Sweden’s second biggest city, combines vibrant urbanity, a friendly vibe and seaside charm.

  • Liseberg is one of the most visited amusement parks in Sweden with some world-class thrill rides.
  • Take a ‘Swedish Fika’ in Haga. It is a charming neighbourhood filled with a wonderful selection of cafés and small artisan shops.
  • Take a day trip to the Gothenburg archipelago.
  • Indulge in seafood! We recommend the shrimp sandwich ‘King size’ at Heaven 23.
  • Visit Götaplatsen at the main boulevard Avenyn. Poseidon at the top has become a signature view of Gothenburg.
  • Take a walk in the many parks. We recommend Slottskogen, Botaniska trädgården and Trädgårdsföreningen with Palmhuset.
